PSA series Option 122 enables you to capture bandwidths up to 80 MHz. It is available on E4443A (6.7 GHz), E4445A (13.2 GHz), E4440A (26.5 GHz) E4446A (44 GHz) and E4448A (50 GHz) PSA models.
A preselector, which is employed above 3 GHz, can adversely affect the frequency response and phase linearity in the preselector pass band. To avoid this problem, Agilent offers a switchable preselector bypass Option 123. (For better amplitude and phase measurements above 3 GHz, Option 123 is recommended for E4443A/45A/40A. Option 123 is always required for E4446A/48A Option 122 to operate.)
If the preselector is required to reduce images, then the wide band calibration wizard (Option 235) can be used to calibrate out the preselector amplitude and phase errors over the band.
After capturing your data, use Agilent's powerful software analysis tool, 89600 VSA software, to analyze a wide range of signal characteristics including I/Q modulation and EVM.
Additionally, PSA Series Option 241 (Flexible digital modulation analysis measurement personality) also supports Option 122 for digital modulation analysis with analysis bandwidth up to 80 MHz..
